Jesse Liu

Jesse Liu is a Beijing-born artist， who spent her high school years living in South Carolina, currently based in California. She graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2022, majoring in Illustration. Jesse's work is predominantly oil-based and draws inspiration from the minutiae of everyday life, which she intertwines with her personal experiences. Her work employs a vivid color palette and interplay of light and shadow to convey a range of emotions within specific contexts. Her dynamic compositions emphasize the importance of storytelling and often create a sense of mystery or romance within the work's atmosphere.
